I am passionate about trauma work because it gets to the root of many symptoms that bring people to therapy, especially for those who have not found relief with traditional talk therapy.

IFS-Informed Parts Work
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a beautiful, incredibly powerful, and transformative evidence-based treatment that fosters connection to one’s own core essence for healing. We all have parts inside with different perspectives and IFS brings harmony within.

Brainspotting
Brainspotting evolved from EMDR and somatic trauma methods. It uses focused eye positions to heal wounding held in deeper subcortical parts of the brain. Recent research has shown that Brainspotting may be more effective than EMDR in some cases.

Emotionally Focused Therapy
EFT is a heart-centered evidence-based couple therapy to reduce relationship distress and build more secure bonds. It works with couples facing chronic illness, a history of childhood abuse, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I also offer EFIT for individuals.

Sensorimotor Psychotherapy & Somatic Experiencing
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Somatic Experiencing are somatic therapies that gently heal traumatic and emotional wounds held in the body and nervous system.

Somatic Attachment-Focused EMDR
Eye Movement Densitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a highly effective treatment backed by research. The somatic and attachment focus helps to process relationship difficulties and deep blocks to wellbeing for lasting change.

Art Therapy
For those who resonate with visual ways of knowing, I integrate art therapy with any of the other methods working well for you - from parts work to somatics and EFT. No art skills necessary. Seeing one's inner and relational world in the art can be very healing.
